About The Position

We are looking for a full time experienced Truck Driver to serve our logistics department in a safe and timely manner. 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:00 pm with Saturday and overtime availability required on an as-needed basis. Starting pay is $29/hr.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Truck Driver 2 years’ experience required with 53’ trailer or similar trailer
No recent moving or driving violations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
CDL Class A
Meet all DOT Requirements

Responsibilities

Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from local manufacturing plants. Average drive is about 20 miles round trip.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents, or violations
