POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Trucking Foreman, Truck Drivers are responsible for performing all driving duties in a safe manner, maintaining and cleaning assigned trucks, and performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
- Must have a Class A or B CDL, current DOT Medical Card, a clean, insurable driving record.
- Able to work well with others in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Able to move at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able and available to Travel and work Out of Town when needed.
Responsibilities
- Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company's vision and core values.
- Perform driving assignments.
- Maintain and clean assigned trucks and perform daily pre and post trip inspections.
- Report any mechanical problems to the maintenance division.
- Obey all traffic laws and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
- Assist other employees and work with others as a team on a construction crew.
- Maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
