About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Truck Driver position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards moving and delivering quality product. The Truck Driver will deliver boats to retail locations across the country from a White River Marine Group manufacturing plant. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Follows appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of TMBC location or customer locations Checks boats to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found Obtains receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required Reports boat defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the boats ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate(s) or License(s): Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position. Years of experience: 2 years

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position.
  • 2 years of driving experience required
  • 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required
  • CDL Class B license required
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions is required
  • Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • The associate must be able to see and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
  • Follow all normal city street traffic laws (turns signals, flashing lights, yield to pedestrians, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
