We are currently recruiting a Truck Driver to join our dynamic Production Operations team in Edgewood. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time. To manage the equipment and empty trailers in the yard at all times ensuring we never run out. The driver is also responsible for moving all trailers in and out of the bays at our building and assisting other sites also. Maintains a high level of efficiency and ensures the work environment adheres to safety procedures. Reports to Supervisor/Manager Materials Management

Requirements

  • High School or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in a fulfillment operation, or similar experience in a related environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus
  • Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies
  • 5+ years Commercial driving experience
  • Valid certified Forklift or Power Jack License
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Valid CDL required
  • Sitting long periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Ensure flow of material between facilities is steady meeting all SLA’s.
  • Complete pre-trip inspections
  • Ensure all vehicles are in an appropriate operating order.
  • Assist logistics with trailer moves in and out of the yard.
  • Move equipment between other BR warehouses as necessary.
  • Off-load trailers upon arrival to facility
  • Scan material being off-loaded in each facility.
  • Remove recycle trailers when full and replace with empties
  • Ensure all yard horses are in proper working order and are fueled.
  • Maintain the vehicle maintenance schedule
  • Must be able to work alone with no supervision
  • Load broken equipment into trailers each day and communicate with USPS to pick up trailer
  • Jack and forklift experience to move equipment in and out of trailers
  • Must be able to train new drivers that come in for peak season
  • May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
