Truck Driver - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials to and from suppliers, vendors, and local customers. Primary duties include picking up steel coils, completing local deliveries within the Troy and Highland areas, and managing additional pickup or delivery tasks as assigned. This position operates Truck Unit 20 and utilizes trailers, tarps, and straps to properly secure all loads. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate delivery documentation, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to all safety and compliance requirements. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Pick up steel coils from suppliers and vendors Perform local customer deliveries in the Troy and Highland areas Complete miscellaneous deliveries and pickups as needed A current CDL - Class A No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Highland, IL (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
