Truck Driver - 26' Box Truck

We have a delivery truck driver opening in Orlando, FL and are looking for the best to join our team. This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions. In this position you will: Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.). Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times. Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving. Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials). Unload and accurately receive incoming product.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
- Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
- Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
- Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
- Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
- Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program
- Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards
- Must be 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent.
