About The Position
This dedicated truck driving job is designed for a Class A CDL holder who is looking to operate primarily in the Midwest, with regional routing through states such as Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. There may also be routes that take you through Florida and Georgia. The job involves hauling preloaded trailers from Granite City, IL, and maintaining a steady flow of work by transporting backloads to the St. Louis area. In certain locations, truck parking may be available at one of the company's facilities. Drivers in this fleet can expect weekly home time, averaging 2,500 miles per week, with some drivers achieving up to 3,000 miles by working from Tuesday to Sunday. Home time is guaranteed to be at least 34 hours per week, ensuring that drivers have consistent time off. The job features consistent customers and lanes, with 75% of the loads being drop and hook, allowing for efficient loading and unloading. Drivers will typically be on the road for 5.5 to 6 days a week, making this a reliable and structured driving position.
