About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The role involves operating a water truck and sweeper to control dust and remove debris at our aggregates site, transporting aggregates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, loading and unloading materials following site and safety protocols, communicating effectively with dispatch and plant personnel, and maintaining accurate delivery records and logs.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and navigate plant environments
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Capability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Operate water truck and sweeper at aggregates site to control dust and remove debris
• Transport aggregates safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Load and unload materials following site and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and plant personnel
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs
