The position involves filling in on scheduled daily routes to ensure proper and timely delivery of products. Responsibilities include rotating, stocking, and merchandising products on the sales floor, shelving, and backroom upon delivery. The role also requires picking up and crediting out-of-date, damaged, or returnable products, and accurately completing all required paperwork daily. Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections for the truck, trailer, and pallet jack are mandatory, and any vehicle or equipment concerns must be reported immediately to the service department. Additional duties include filling in as needed in the warehouse, driving and operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and various other warehouse equipment, utilizing smartphone technology and scanners to select orders, and loading and unloading trucks and trailers. The position also requires moving tractor/trailer units on the lot and in the warehouse for loading/unloading purposes, exhibiting friendly and courteous customer service, and demonstrating exemplary driving etiquette at all times while representing Pepsi-Cola on all streets and highways in the market.
