About The Position

Walmart is seeking regional truck drivers who can earn up to $105,000 in their first year. The position offers weekly home time with consecutive days off every week. Drivers will be responsible for planning their day, setting priorities, and working with their team to keep freight moving safely and on time. They will communicate clearly, solve problems as they arise, and adapt to changes on the road or in the plan. The role involves handling all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately while following all DOT, state, and company guidelines. Drivers will operate their tractor-trailer safely, inspecting it before, during, and after each trip to ensure it is in top shape. They will run optimized routes by adhering to traffic laws and local restrictions, thereby reducing delays and improving on-time delivery performance. Upholding Walmart's high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism is essential throughout the job.

Requirements

• Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement or will obtain HAZMAT endorsement within 120 calendar days of hire.
• Minimum of 30 months (2.5 years) experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years.
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last ten (10) years.
• Must currently live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to establish a residence within 250 miles by 90 days from hire date.
