About The Position

As part of our transportation team, you will be helping us to achieve our mission by helping us process donated goods. Re-sellable items are used to support our mission of helping people with disabilities and our nation's veterans to go to work. We are looking for qualified Truck Drivers to drive straight trucks rated at 26,000 pounds or less. New equipment (automatic transmission), local routes, home every night, 5 days per week (overtime may be required), paid per hour worked (not miles). The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting donated goods across our network of stores and donation centers. Drives a Non-CDL rated straight truck to transport goods to retail stores, cleans up around ADC sites, merchant donation pick-ups, and other related responsibilities.

Requirements

Requires valid driver's license and local driving (local routes only - home every night)
One-year prior experience driving a straight truck preferred.
Good driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work in all weather conditions.
Must be able to pass driving tests, background check and DOT's physical/drug tests.
Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), holidays and overtime.
