About The Position

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class C Truck Driver and we want the right driver to join us at Ryder in Kent, WA. Drivers Average $1000 Weekly -and it gets better. Driver Positions Pay Weekly. Hourly Pay: $25.00 Per Hour. Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week. Hotel & Meals Provided for overnights. Schedule: Monday - Friday; Some Weekends. Start Time: 7:00 AM. Route: Day and Night runs available. 26' Straight Truck. Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate, Stair Crawlers and Tablet. Freight: Touch - Copy Machines. Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck).
• 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.
