Immediate opening for a Part Time NON CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Kalamazoo, MI. You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like. $645 or more a week: + Driver Positions Pay Weekly + Hourly Pay: $24.00 Per Hour + Health & Wellness Stipend: $5.33 Per Hour + Hours: up to 22 Hours a Week + Paid Training + Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday + Start time 5:00 AM. Deliver SOLO to: 80 mile radius of Kalamazoo MI. Route: Local Home Daily. Tractor Type: Straight Truck. Trailer Type: Dry Van 26'. Equipment: Rolling Carts. Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful. Freight: Touch - US Mail (Registered for Selective Services Required). Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
Maintaining accurate records.
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum 21 years of age.
Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.
