About The Position

Immediate opening for a NON CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Brooklyn Park, MN. You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like. $1175 or more per week - And it gets better. Driver Positions Pay Weekly. Performance Pay: $0.47/CPM. Stop Pay: $12/per stop. Hours Per Week: Approx. 51 hours. Paid Training. Schedule: Monday – Friday. Start Time: 3:00 AM Dispatch. Deliver Solo: MN, WI. Route: Dedicated Home Daily. Tractor Type: Straight Truck (Minimum of 12 months of verifiable box truck driving experience). Trailer Type: 20-26' Straight Trucks. Equipment: Pallet Jack and Liftgate. Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful. Freight: Touch – Auto Parts. Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck
• 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
