About The Position
Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. This role involves performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships on a dedicated route. Drivers will be responsible for unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and using a scanner to track products. The position offers an average annual salary of $87,995, a $10,000 retention bonus, and daily home time. Drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with in-cab cameras for safety. Penske emphasizes customer service, professional development, and a stable work environment with excellent equipment and a strong safety record.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency (compliant with federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, accepting responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
