About The Position

Small Bird CDL Driver Full Time - Hourly Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Must be 18 years of age or older At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $24.25 - $34.00 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location. Job Responsibilities The successful candidate would safely and effectively load/deliver poults from the brooder farms to the grower farms, pull trailers, haul heavy equipment, and assist with regular farm support tasks. Help crew load birds occasionally (less than 40% of the time) Other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no restrictions & current DOT medical exam certificate Must be at least 21 years of age. At least one year of professional driving experience. Ability to work with minimal supervision. No more than 1 moving violation in last 12 months, or no more than 2 moving violations in last 36 months. No DWI offenses in last 12 months, or no more than 1 DWI offense in last 36 months Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to follow bio security guidelines.
