As a Truck Driver DOT, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Operate trucks in compliance with local, state and company policies Perform truck, trailer and container inspections. Deliver loads to proper locations and plant locations. Inspect inbound loads at supplier locations. Load/Unload a dump trailer. Inspect outbound loads. Load /Unload a roll off container. Drive dump truck on SMI property. Ensure that trucks are kept clean and maintained at all times, perform truck maintenance, as required Complete and maintain driving and haul log sheets on a trip basis, as required. Wear appropriate site specific personal protective equipment (PPE), as required. Understand and adhere to all company operating procedures and company safety policies. Any other related duties, as assigned by their supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must have CDL Class A license
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating powered industrial vehicles preferred
  • Glass processing knowledge, preferred.
  • Understand and follow specific oral instructions.
