About The Position
The position involves driving and operating commercial vehicles, tractors, and other specialized equipment for various solid waste collection, maintenance, forestry, and construction projects. The role requires a high level of skill to maneuver larger vehicles through small residential roads and operate complex mechanisms. The Truck Driver is a stand-alone position within the Public Works - City Wide Services Garbage Division, specifically at the Wood Recycling Center.
