About The Position

We are Paris Brothers, a privately held industry leader committed to excellence in all that we do. A diversified manufacturer and distributor of specialty food products, premium specialty coffee, and third-party logistics (3PL), we believe we make the world in which we participate better, especially for our wonderful customers. We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including a box truck. This role involves delivering items efficiently across designated routes while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, experience with different truck types, and a commitment to timely & safe deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for tractor-trailers, tankers, or flatbeds preferred.
• Experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations.
• Prior experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and various truck types.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and responsibility. Able to obtain/maintain a DOT health certification per the CDL requirements.
• Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Must meet all licensing requirements for commercial trucking operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Manage route driving responsibilities, adhering to schedules, traffic laws, and safety standards.
• Deliver freight to multiple locations efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation of deliveries.
• Assist with the securing of loads on flatbeds or other specialized trailers as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols related to refrigerated trucks and other specialized vehicles.
