About The Position

Pennsylvania Steel Company, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver - Class A or B - Flatbed - Steel Hauling - for our Carnegie, PA location. Pennsylvania Steel Company Inc., a leading distributor of steel and aluminum in Carnegie, PA, is looking for a Class A or B licensed drive to safely operate a commercial flatbed vehicle to transport and deliver material to our customers. We are veteran owned business with 12 locations and over 50 years in the industry. What You'll Do: Safely deliver steel products to loyal customers across Western PA Secure loads and perform full pre-trip/post-trip inspections Verify count and condition of materials when loading and unloading Report vehicle maintenance needs Comply with DOT regulations Maintain a clean driving record Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Build relationships with great customers who count on your professionalism Represent Pennsylvania Steel with pride, courtesy, and safety on the road Work Monday-Friday (local/regional routes only—no overnights)

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B License
• Clean driving record and current medical card
• Ability to handle physical tasks including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, assisting customers with unloading material, and securing loads
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of CDL experience preferred
