Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years experience preferred, but no experience required.
• Current Georgia Commercial Drivers License (CDL) 'Class A' license required.
• Valid Georgia issued drivers license with a good driving record.
• Pass Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) medical physical annually.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport donated merchandise.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trailers.
• Secure truck/trailer loads at each stop prior to departure.
• Perform tasks according to work instructions.
• Maintain vehicles to agency standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required.
• Comply with Goodwill of North Georgia's safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain current Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) requirements.
• Ensure security of all company assets including merchandise and property.
• Follow all state driving laws including cell phone/texting laws.
