Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Class A CDL Driver to join our Team in the Decatur, AL area. The CDL driver will be responsible for operating various trucks which are used to move equipment or other materials utilizing public roadways.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience hauling heavy equipment
  • Able to drive and operate medium to heavy trucks on DOT highways
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
  • Pre-employment qualification test/federal written driving test
  • D.O.T. drug screen/card
  • Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, hearing protection, etc.)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Moves hand and foot levers to control operating equipment
  • Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed
  • May assemble or disassemble equipment or material on construction projects
  • May be required to manipulate equipment on un-level working surfaces
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
