About The Position

Our team is looking for experienced truck drivers! This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between farms, distribution facilities, and maintenance facilities. On occasion, deliveries will be required throughout the region. Local routes, home nightly! Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One year of relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
Valid CDL License.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of bi-products, final products, and materials.
Perform a variety of duties, such as hauling, loading, dumping, etc.
Perform required before-, during- and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; cleans equipment.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
May plan route to ensure most economical use of time and equipment
Operate conveyors, skid loaders, mowers, compost turners, tractors, floaters, welders, and other equipment and tools to maintain company property and equipment.
Cut trees and brush, and remove trees and weeds.
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
Control traffic at worksites by flagging to guide traffic through work areas, as required or assigned.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
