Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. This role involves performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scanning products upon delivery. Drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with in-cab cameras, ensuring comfort and safety. Penske emphasizes professional customer service, building relationships with accounts, and often requires drivers to represent clients by driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms. The company offers training opportunities and a stable work environment with excellent equipment, management, clear communication, and a strong safety record. Drivers are paid weekly and are typically home daily.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency (compliant with federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Work the required schedule

- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
