About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. This role involves performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, requiring the unloading of trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scanning products upon delivery. Drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including in-cab cameras. Penske emphasizes safety, customer service, and building relationships, with drivers representing both Penske and its clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms. The company offers a stable, nationwide environment with excellent equipment, management, communication, and a strong safety record, providing training opportunities and daily home time for most driving positions.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency (compliant with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Work the required schedule

  • Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
  • Submit to drug screening
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
