About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities. This role offers an average annual salary of $77,168, with a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 11:45 PM, ensuring drivers are home daily on dedicated routes. Drivers will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scanning products upon delivery. Drivers will operate late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • English language proficiency (compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)))
  • Work the required schedule
  • Work at the specific location required
  • Complete Penske employment application
  • Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
  • Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
