About The Position

Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Drivers will deliver palletized medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers, averaging up to 25 stops per week, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. The role involves driving late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and in-cab cameras for safety. Penske emphasizes safety, timely delivery, incredible customer service, and building relationships. Drivers will represent both Penske and their clients, potentially driving client-branded trucks and wearing client uniforms. Penske offers training opportunities, nationwide locations for career mobility, and is a stable company known for its equipment, management, clear communication, and fantastic safety record. Pay is weekly, and for most driving positions, drivers are home daily.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Work the required schedule

  • Complete Penske employment application
  • Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
