Requirements

• Minimum age 21 with a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License and good driving record.
• At least one year of route transportation experience preferred.
• Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical.
• Demonstrate safe, efficient driving skills and maintain all security procedures.
• Exhibit strong customer service and verbal communication.
• Carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs, ladders.
• Lift at least 70 pounds; push/pull bins 25 to 350 pounds, average weight 170 pounds.
• Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including DOT and B trucks, for local and regional pickups.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring efficient space utilization.
• Prepare gaylords for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist department's requesting assistance.
• Perform other work as assigned.
