About The Position

Truck Driver – Class A CDL Location: Fort Myers, FL | Status: Onsite | Department: Fleet Operations Drive Safely, Deliver Reliably, and Support Healthcare Operations LeeSar and Cooperative Services of Florida (CSF) are seeking a Truck Driver – Class A CDL to support the safe, timely transportation of products and materials between LeeSar facilities, hospitals, medical offices, and other customer locations. This role is essential to ensuring healthcare providers receive critical supplies on time and in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who values safety, consistency, and teamwork while operating modern fleet equipment in support of mission-critical healthcare operations. Shift: Night-Flex Position: Tuesday -Saturday 3rd Shift 6:00 to 7:00PM Start time and end generally between 2:00 and 4:00AM

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable driving experience
  • Clean driving record and ability to be insured as a company driver
  • Ability to pass and maintain DOT medical certification
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English for work-related communication
  • Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Dependable, reliable, and accountable work ethic
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver materials up to 100+ lbs using assisting devices
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating in healthcare, logistics, or regulated delivery environments

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company-owned Class A vehicle to transport products between LeeSar locations, hospitals, medical offices, and other assigned destinations
  • Complete scheduled and emergency deliveries following established routes or updated instructions
  • Load, secure, and transport materials to prevent damage or loss
  • Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and route documentation
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections using the Samsara system
  • Report mechanical or safety concerns promptly to Fleet Operations leadership
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and operational procedures
  • Maintain required certifications for material handling and equipment operation
  • Represent LeeSar in a professional, courteous, and customer-focused manner at all delivery locations
  • Maintain appropriate appearance, including company-issued uniforms
  • Protect confidentiality of transported materials, records, and information
  • Communicate route issues, delivery challenges, or safety concerns with supervisors
  • Assist other drivers or couriers as requested
  • Participate in required meetings and training programs
  • Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency, fuel usage, and service quality
