Location: 915 North Curry Pike - Bloomington, Indiana 47404 Position Summary: Responsible to safely operate commercial truck for delivery of product to customer locations. Responsible for backhaul pick-ups from vendor locations. Required to unload or load product by hand or other means. Perform routine vehicle inspections and operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with DOT/FMSCA regulations. May also be required to move trailers on complex with yard switcher, fuel equipment and wash equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Six months or 50,000 miles verifiable CDL A driving experience required
  • Working knowledge and skills
  • Moderate degree of supervision
  • Works within standard operating procedures
  • Work impacts team
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds frequently during loading and unloading (average case weight of 18.7 pounds, 83% of cases are less than 30 pounds).
  • Must be able to push and pull loaded pallets and carts weighing up to 2,700 pounds.
  • The employee is required to sit up to eleven hours per day and climb in and out of tractor and trailer often.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
