Requirements

• Be 21 years old
• Have valid CDL A driver's license and good driving record
• At least one year of route transportation experience preferred
• Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical
• Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
• Exhibit strong customer service and verbal communication
• Honor all security procedures
• Climb/step up into a truck cab
• Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled plastic bins over, up, and down inclines and stairs and on varying walking surfaces and elevations
• Lift at least 70 pounds; push/pull bins 25 to 350 pounds, average weight 170 pounds
• Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a company 53-foot semi-trailer safely and efficiently
• Pick up customer items to deliver to other ALM facilities
• Live Load
• Drop and Hook
• Deliver specific, timely customer orders
• Prepare accurate paperwork and records
• Experience of a Baler
• Prepare Gaylord
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Sort through item to ensure there is no wood
• Perform other work as assigned
