About The Position

Immediately Hiring a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver in Evansville, IN. We want the right Employee to Drive with us at Ryder. Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $1390 or more Weekly and it gets better. Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly. Weekly Guarantee $1390 per week. Solo Miles Pay: $0.51 per Mile with 2500 Miles per Week. Solo Stops Pay: $9.00 per Stop with 5 - 10 Stops per Week. Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per Drop/Hook. Shutdown Bonus: Pays You $2000 Paid in 2 Installments. Safety Bonus: Pays you up to $250 Per Quarter If Applicable. Schedule: Monday – Friday or Tuesday - Saturday. Start Time: Must be Open to Bid System for Routes Based on Seniority. Deliver SOLO To: Within 300 Mile Radius. Route: Local Home Daily. Tractor Type: Day Cab. Trailer Type: Dry Van 53’. Freight: No Touch – Auto Parts. Strong Backing Skills Required. Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide. Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
