About The Position

Welcome to Love's College Intern Program: The Love’s college internship program is frequently referred to as the best in Oklahoma City. This rapidly growing program provides opportunities for students in multiple areas of the business to receive employee level experience, not just busy work. Students gain valuable knowledge that they can’t get in a classroom; they are guided through proper etiquette of a professional corporate setting. Internship Activities: Over the course of the summer, Love’s interns also participate in the following: Experience multiple business operations Q&A sessions with executives Participation in Greater Grads: InternOKC Community volunteering activities Social-networking events Instructor led Training (Technical and Soft Skills) Mentor program Structured performance feedback Formal presentation to Love’s leadership The primary purpose of this position is to help improve our Truck Care training program by reviewing current training documents and providing feedback on how to improve them. This position may be required to go out to the shops to learn the skills associated with each position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university program, a sophomore level or above (pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in. Business Admin, Busines Management, Supply Chain, etc.. )
  • Experience collaborating in a group or team
  • Ability to operate a computer with moderate proficiency
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to navigate safely in service bay
  • Ability to multitas
  • Requires prolonged sitting, standing and walking, some bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
  • Occasional light lifting not over 75 pounds
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision

Responsibilities

  • Review of training documents for L1, L2, & L3 Truck Care Technicians, Service Advisors, and Truck Care Managers
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize processes and enhance overall performance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Interface with multiple electronic platforms to ensure clear and concise communication
  • May be expected to visit local Truck Care locations for on-site training purposes.
  • Other tasks as assigned
