About The Position
Thermo King West is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Technicians to join our team at our Elkridge, MD location. As a market leader in transport refrigeration and trailer repair, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch service and support to our customers. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in mechanical repair, particularly with trailers and trucks, and will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the safety and functionality of our vehicles. The position is available in three tiers: Entry-Level Apprentice Technician, Journeyman Trailer Technician, and Expert Trailer Technician, each requiring varying levels of experience and expertise. Entry-Level Technicians will focus on basic repairs and maintenance, while Journeyman and Expert Technicians will perform more complex diagnostics and repairs, including PMs, BIT, and DOT inspections, as well as air brake inspections and repairs. All technicians will be expected to adhere to safety policies and maintain a high standard of workmanship. In addition to technical skills, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate power tools safely. The role requires a commitment to punctuality and attendance, as well as the ability to work overtime when necessary.
