About The Position

The position involves driving Truck and Pup, Strong Arm, Haul and Dump Trucks under the direction of the Trucking Foreman. Drivers are responsible for performing all driving duties in a safe manner, maintaining and cleaning assigned trucks, and performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. The role requires adherence to traffic laws and ensuring a safe work environment, as well as assisting other employees and operating equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Must have a Class A or B CDL, current DOT Medical Card, a clean, insurable driving record.
• Able to work well with others in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Able to move at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able and available to Travel and work Out Of Town when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform driving assignments.
• Maintain and clean assigned truck and perform daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Report any truck mechanical problems to maintenance division.
• Obey all traffic laws and ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
• Assist other employees and work with others as a team on a construction crew.
• As needed, operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
