About The Position
Triumph Public High Schools is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and passionate individual with a heart to help at-risk youth, to work at our campus in El Paso, Texas. The Truancy Officer provides assistance in understanding and applying required compulsory attendance laws under Section 25.085 TEC and resolving truancy, excessive absences, and tardiness problems. They provide assistance to campus personnel to include the attendance officer in interpreting and enforcing compulsory attendance laws and serve as campus liaison to parents, law enforcement agencies, and court personnel. This position may require some occasional work on Saturdays, over the summer and some travel within the state of Texas.
