The Recreation Center Host are the front lines and first impressions when it comes to the service of Trout Creek Recreation Center. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that members and guests are greeted with a smile, and that all guests continue to experience an exceptional level of customer service and support throughout their visit. This position provides seamless transitions during and between each stage of the guest experience. This position is responsible for maintaining the amenity grounds including but not limited to locker rooms, gym and spa cleanliness as well as replenishing towels, toiletries and other minor custodial tasks. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides excellent customer service to customers, employees and business partners. Performs opening and closing procedures including securing the facility, moving pool covers as needed, checking pool and spa chemicals. Performs frequent facility inspections of restrooms, sauna, steam room, pools, spas, fitness room, office and entry to ensure areas are clean and free of debris and trash. Assists members and guests with retail merchandise, class enrollment and answering questions, both in person and by telephone. Assist with snow removal including shoveling, snow blowing, and clearing snow from walkways and handicap access, equipment and other areas as needed.
