About The Position
The Trimmer is responsible for understanding the operation, general maintenance, and safety features of the trimming equipment. This role ensures veneer materials are processed accurately and safely according to production standards.

- Frequent exposure to heat, fumes, and moving mechanical parts.
Responsibilities
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Inspect veneer materials to verify they meet required specifications.
- Observe machine operation to detect defects in material or malfunctions in equipment.
- Meet and maintain acceptable production levels.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Complete all required production forms accurately.
- Follow lockout-tagout safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow all safety regulations.
- Willingly accept supervision, assistance, and feedback, particularly regarding machine setup.
- Demonstrate familiarity with basic machine functions to perform job tasks effectively.
