ArborWorks is seeking Trimmer (Climber) candidates at all experience levels. As a Trimmer, you will be responsible for tree maintenance, line clearance, and vegetation management in various environments. Depending on your experience and qualifications, you may enter at one of the following levels: Trimmer 1 (Entry-Level / Trainee Start) Ideal for those with foundational tree climbing experience who are eager to develop their skills in a structured training program. Assist climbers and bucket operators from the ground. Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other tree maintenance equipment. Learn climbing techniques, rope rigging, and safety protocols. Conduct pre-climb tree inspections under supervision. Work toward completion of the Line Clearance Qualification Program (LCQP). Trimmer 2 (6-12 Months Experience) Suited for candidates with at least six months of climbing and line clearance experience. Perform general climbing duties with guidance. Set up rigging and tie knots and hitches for climbing and rigging tasks. Provide traffic control and spotting assistance. Conduct customer communication and post-work inspections. Trimmer 3 (12+ Months Experience) For experienced climbers with advanced line clearance skills and certifications. Independently perform advanced tree climbing and rigging. Set up job sites and provide traffic control as needed. Inspect and maintain ropes, saddles, and life-support equipment. Train and mentor junior trimmers and trainees. Successfully pass a skills assessment for advancement.
