About The Position

The Trim Shop is primarily responsible for loading and unloading deliveries in the yard and assisting customers in the yard as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 60lbs and have the ability to stand or walk for an extended period of time up to 8-10 hours a day.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Ability to drive a forklift and read a tape measure.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Ability to follow directions and take initiative.
• Honest, dependable, and demonstrates a high level of integrity; strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Works well in a team environment and supports a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction while completing daily tasks.
• Ability to meet deadlines daily and have good time and attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Millwork experience and knowledge of trim profiles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stage loads for delivery or will call (accurately pull correct products from picking ticket).
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proper manner, according to company procedures/protocols.
• Follow all safety procedures, ensuring all staff adhere to them as well.
• Put away products in proper bin locations.
• Help customers in the yard as needed.
• Work well with others.
• Build lumber packs in a timely and accurate manner.
