About The Position
The Trim Packaging Lead will play a crucial role in the Post Harvest department, overseeing the workflow and leading a team of 10-15 employees in a fast-paced cannabis trimming environment. This position requires a hands-on approach, as the lead will not only direct the workflow but also participate in the trimming and quality assurance processes. The Trim Packaging Lead is responsible for ensuring that all company procedures are followed, particularly in relation to product quality and inventory management. This includes inspecting products for quality defects during the trimming process and ensuring that all metrics and data are accurately collected and tracked. The lead will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized trim room, conducting daily assessments, and managing the inventory of products at various stages, including shucked/bucked material, trim, and finished buds. The role demands effective communication with management and the ability to foster a cooperative team atmosphere, encouraging high product quality and collaboration among team members.
