About The Position

This position involves learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform job tasks correctly, making precision cuts to carcasses for further processing, and operating powered tools. The average training time is expected to be 2-3 months. The job requires working Monday to Friday, with possible Saturdays, from 6:40 am until finished.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, walk, climb, and lift for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor.
• Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Must be able to work cycles in less than 30 seconds.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months of relevant experience.
