About The Position

Join our team as a Trim Line Lead on the 3rd Shift! We're looking for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Trim Line Lead, you'll supervise, train, and coordinate line associates, and maintain acurate production records in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent beneficial but not required
• Six months of steady work history is preferred

Nice To Haves

• Line Lead/Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of product on the conveyor or cone line, ensuring there are no bottlenecks or delays that could affect product quality or weight loss
• Conduct regular checks to ensure product meets USDA and company quality specifications
• Monitor the team's adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures to prevent workplace injuries
• Act as the key point of contact between the production line and the Production Supervisor/Manager
• Continuously inspect trimmed product for defects, ensuring the removal of bones, cartilage, skin tags, bruises, and excessive fat to meet A-Grade product specifications
• Ensure all team members have and properly maintain their tools (knives, mesh gloves, sharpeners) and that knives are kept sharp for clean, efficient cuts
