The Tribal Health Liaison serves as a dedicated bridge between Montana’s tribal nations, urban Indian health organizations and the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). These positions ensure culturally appropriate engagement, support meaningful tribal participation in all RHTP initiatives, and embed trial priorities throughout program design, implementation, and evaluation. The Liaisons coordinate with tribal health systems to expand access to workforce development, technology modernization, and care delivery transformation resources while upholding tribal sovereignty and government-to-government relationships.
