Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license in good standing with The Florida Bar.
Minimum 3-5 years of litigation experience, including first- or second-chair trial experience.
Strong knowledge of personal injury, workers' compensation, auto claims, premises liability, and/or maritime law.
Excellent courtroom, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with insurance carriers and understanding billing practices.
Strategic thinker with strong writing and case management skills.
Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as lead counsel on trials, arbitrations, and mediations in state and federal courts.
Develop litigation strategy, conduct depositions, and argue motions.
Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for trial.
Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and trial documents.
Analyze case facts, legal issues, and exposure to develop resolution strategies.
Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
Manage litigation files independently, with support from paralegals and junior attorneys.
