Your Role The triage nurse (registered nurse) at Near North Health is a hybrid role. The Triage Nurse provides clinically expert triage service within NNH, monitoring and responding to triage calls from the call center or walk-ins at any NNH health center.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited RN or LPN program.
- Current Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois.
- CPR or BLS certification
- At least 3 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Experience in telehealth/virtual visits
- Must demonstrate competency for triaging patients of all ages and for the entirety of NNH’s scope of outpatient clinical care.
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to function as part of a highly effective team that consistently puts “Patients First.”
