Our programs and services include: Adolescent GYN Health/First GYN exam Childbirth Center Care for trans men, genderqueer and gender-nonconforming individuals Contraceptive Management (birth control) Fertility counseling and treatment, intrauterine insemination, reproductive health Gynecology Mammography Menopause Care Midwifery Services Minimally Invasive Surgery Obstetrics (pregnancy care) Osteoporosis Care (bone health) Pelvic Floor disorders Reproductive Endocrinology STI/sexually transmitted infections Urinary Incontinence (loss of bladder control) Vaginal/Vulvar diseases and disorders This specialty has offices in 2 locations: 22 Atwood Drive, Northampton 170 University Drive, Amherst Job Summary We are seeking a full-time Hybrid 40-Hour Triage RN to supports both our Amherst and Northampton office onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with 2 remote days! Dedicated to phone triage, this Nurse will handle patient interactions via telephone, provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinate proper disposition. Calls are related to patient concerns, appointments, pre and post procedures, urgent care, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
