Wentworth Health Partners Coastal Neurology Services has been providing adults and children with comprehensive and trusted care since 1983. Our board-certified physicians specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and management of an array of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, autism, ADHD, neuromuscular disease, neuropathy, sleep disorders, small-fiber polyneuropathy, stroke and more. Our Neurology practices are located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH, and 73 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH. This position will support our expert providers treating adult patients, as well as pediatric patients. Our services include diagnosis and treatment options for headaches, migraines, epilepsy, stroke, neuromuscular disease, sleep disorders and more. We are seeking a full-time Triage Registered Nurse to join our team, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The schedule will consist of either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts. We require an initial onsite training period of up to 90 days, which may be shortened based on individual progress and experience. For any required onsite training or occasional meetings, candidates may choose between our Portsmouth or Dover locations for convenience. In this role, the Triage RN will function in a fully behind-the-scenes capacity, providing critical clinical support without direct, in-person patient care. Responsibilities include managing in-basket coverage, handling live inbound calls, conducting outbound patient outreach, triaging patient concerns, and responding to patient inquiries through the patient gateway. The nurse will also be responsible for communicating test results to patients and ensuring timely, accurate follow-up. This position requires the ability to multitask effectively, manage a high volume of communications, and maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required
  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
  • Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
