The triage nurse (registered nurse) at Near North Health is a hybrid role. The Triage Nurse provides clinically expert triage service within NNH, monitoring and responding to triage calls from the call center or walk-ins at any NNH health center.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited RN or LPN program.
  • Current Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois.
  • CPR or BLS certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
  • Experience in telehealth/virtual visits.
  • Demonstrate competency for triaging patients of all ages and for the entirety of NNH's scope of outpatient clinical care.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
