About The Position
Will provide appropriate screening, handling and routing of all incoming phone calls and ensure patient messages are taken appropriately with pertinent information via phone and/or EMR system. Will evaluate patient needs based on level of acuity; handle prescription refills; and provide timely communication with providers regarding patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed by the NC (or compact state) Board of Nursing to practice as an LPN.
- No experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a medical office.
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
